What is Scrupp and how it works: complete 2026 guide

What is Scrupp, in short

Scrupp is a Chrome extension that extracts leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn and Apollo with SMTP-verified emails and direct phone numbers. It works inside your own browser session without touching your account, and it's one of the cheapest alternatives to the classic scrapers. The paid plan starts at 29 dollars a month for 1,000 leads.

What is Scrupp

Scrupp is a B2B lead generation tool that was born in the LinkedIn automation world and by 2026 has pivoted toward data extraction. Its flagship product today is a Sales Navigator scraper that works as a Chrome extension and turns a LinkedIn search into a CSV full of enriched contacts.

The company claims more than 5,000 sales teams use it daily and that it has exported over 200 million leads. On G2 it keeps a rating of 4.7 out of 5, which is nothing to sneeze at for a tool in this niche.

The first thing that stands out when you open it is how simple it is. No flows to build, no API to configure, no endless dashboards. You install the extension, run your Sales Navigator search and hit an export button. In that sense it delivers on the promise the brand has always had: simplicity at low cost.

What Scrupp is for

Scrupp serves one concrete purpose: taking you from a LinkedIn search to a send-ready lead list, with verified email and phone, in a matter of minutes.

Export Sales Navigator searches

If you do B2B prospecting daily, you know the bottleneck isn't writing the messages. It's finding the right contact data. With Scrupp you can export up to 2,500 leads per Sales Navigator search, which is the limit LinkedIn's own interface imposes, and each CSV row includes more than 15 columns: name, job title, seniority, company, size, industry, location, LinkedIn profile, SMTP-verified email, direct phone and mobile when available.

Enrich your own lists

It also serves to complete data you already have. You upload a CSV with company names or LinkedIn URLs and the tool fills the gaps with emails and phone numbers. This fits very well if your flow already runs through cold email tools and you only need a clean contact source.

Find contacts without Sales Navigator

If you don't have Sales Navigator, Scrupp includes a lead finder with over 200 million B2B contacts to search by role, company or industry, although the main flow remains the LinkedIn extension.

Feed cold campaigns

The export can sync directly with Instantly, HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, which saves you the manual import and export step before launching the campaign.

These are the most common use cases:

Use caseWhat you get
Export Sales Navigator searchesUp to 2,500 leads per search with verified emails
Enrich your own CSVEmails, phone numbers and firmographics on your current list
Find contacts without Sales NavigatorLead finder with over 200 million B2B contacts
Feed cold campaignsCSV or direct sync with Instantly, HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive

How Scrupp works

The way it works is different from other tools and that's exactly its charm. Scrupp isn't a robot that acts for you, it's an extension that reads what you're already seeing in your browser.

You install the Chrome extension, log in with your account and run a normal Sales Navigator search, whether it's Lead Search, Account Search or a saved list. The export button appears on the side. When you hit it, the extension goes through the profiles at human speed, extracting name, job title, company and LinkedIn URL, and then enriches each contact with an SMTP-verified email and a direct phone number when one exists.

The verified email data point matters. Scrupp says it gets around 65 percent of emails right on US SaaS profiles, and that when you send with that data the bounce rate stays below 5 percent. To put it in perspective, that delivery rate is comparable to dedicated email verifiers.

And what happens to your LinkedIn account? Nothing, and that's the key. The extension works inside your own browser session, with your IP and your user agent. It doesn't ask for your password, doesn't use remote servers and doesn't run actions like sending requests or messages. It only reads data, respecting LinkedIn's request limits. It's a read-only architecture, so the risk of an account ban is minimal. If you want to understand why this matters so much, I recommend reading how LinkedIn automation works without getting penalized.

When the export finishes, you have two paths. Download the CSV or XLSX, or sync the leads directly with your CRM or sending tool. The native integrations cover HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Instantly, Pipedrive and Notion.

How much Scrupp costs in 2026

Scrupp has a pay-per-exported-lead model, with no cost per seat. That means you pay for the number of contacts you pull, not the number of users, something agencies appreciate. The prices I give you are from the official website.

PlanPriceLeads per month
Free0 dollars100 leads
Starter29 dollars/month1,000 leads
Pro99 dollars/month5,000 leads
EnterpriseCustomUp to 100,000 leads

The free plan includes 100 leads a month with no card required, enough to test the tool and check email quality. The tool's page mentions an entry price around 19 dollars a month, so it's worth checking the official pricing page because they run promotions fairly often. Either way, the cost per verified lead is among the lowest on the market if you compare it with other scraping options.

Pros and cons of Scrupp

ProsCons
Simple interface, you learn it in minutesRequires Chrome and a LinkedIn account
SMTP-verified emails with low bounceVolume per search is capped at 2,500 leads
Safety: it doesn't touch your account, it only readsNo sequences or built-in CRM
Free plan of 100 leads with no cardSales Navigator is a mandatory extra cost
Integrations with Instantly, HubSpot and moreNo mobile app or support outside the browser

Is Scrupp worth it?

In my opinion, yes, but it depends on your profile. If you're an SDR or freelancer and you already have Sales Navigator, Scrupp pays for itself in the first campaign. You're paying between 3 and 6 cents per verified lead, and a single closed client pays for the tool for the whole year.

It's not as worth it if you're looking for a complete prospecting suite with CRM, sequences and an integrated database. For that there are bigger options, although more expensive and with a steeper learning curve, as you can see in the Waalaxy vs Apollo comparison. Scrupp is a piece of the puzzle, not the whole puzzle.

If you're setting up your first B2B prospecting machine, the typical flow with Scrupp is this. You find your ICP on Sales Navigator, export the leads, sync the CSV with your email finding tool or directly with your cold email platform, and launch the campaign. In total, from search to first send, less than ten minutes can go by.

Frequently asked questions

Does Scrupp put my LinkedIn account at risk?

The risk is minimal. The extension works inside your own session, with your IP and your user agent, and it only reads data without running actions like sending requests or messages. It doesn't ask for your password or use remote servers, so what LinkedIn sees is the behavior of a normal user browsing.

Do I need Sales Navigator to use Scrupp?

For the main flow, yes. Bulk lead extraction works on Sales Navigator, which is an extra cost to keep in mind. If you don't have it, Scrupp includes its own lead finder with over 200 million contacts, although performance isn't the same.

What delivery rate do Scrupp emails have?

The company says it gets around 65 percent of emails right on US SaaS profiles, with bounces below 5 percent. Accuracy varies by country and industry, so it's worth validating a sample of your market before launching a big campaign.
