Scrupp or Waalaxy: which to choose in 30 seconds

Visual comparison of Scrupp and Waalaxy

When someone searches Scrupp vs Waalaxy, what they usually want to know is which one they should buy. The short answer is that they don't do the same thing. Scrupp extracts leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator with SMTP-verified emails and direct phone numbers, from $29 per month. Waalaxy automates LinkedIn prospecting by sending invitations and messages for you, from €19 per month. If you're missing the contact data, Scrupp. If you're missing the time to reach out, Waalaxy. And most of the people who write to me end up using both.

Why people ask me this

Every couple of days I get the same email. "Pablo, I'm looking at Scrupp and Waalaxy, which one should I get?" And I get it, because both are Chrome extensions, both work on LinkedIn and both promise not to get your account banned. If the entry prices also look similar, it's normal that people confuse them.

The reality is that they sit on different layers of the same flow. One gives you the data and the other does the outreach work. That's why this comparison doesn't end with a single winner, but with a recommendation based on what you're missing. And that's also why I verified prices and reviews today, because with these two tools the data changes fast.

What each tool does

Scrupp

Scrupp is a lead extractor. You install the extension, run your Sales Navigator search and hit export. In a few minutes you have a CSV with name, job title, company, verified email and direct phone when one exists. Up to 2,500 leads per search and more than 15 columns per row.

The interesting part is how it does it. The extension works inside your own browser session, with your IP, and it only reads data. It doesn't send invitations or messages, it doesn't ask for your password. It's a read-only architecture, so the risk to your account is minimal. The company claims more than 5,000 teams use it daily and that it has exported over 200 million leads.

In 2026 it has grown a lot. It's no longer just the Sales Navigator scraper: it has an Apollo exporter, a lead finder with over 200 million contacts, CSV enrichment, a REST API and a new AI buying-signals feature that alerts you when a lead changes jobs.

Waalaxy

Waalaxy is an outreach robot. You build a campaign in a visual editor, choose the actions (visit profile, send invitation with a note, message people who accept, follow-ups) and the tool runs them on its own, respecting the limits LinkedIn considers normal. Its big card is that it mimics human behavior, so you can prospect consistently without risking your account. If you want to understand why that matters so much, I recommend my guide on LinkedIn automation.

The Business plan adds cold email sequences and multichannel campaigns that combine LinkedIn and email. That said, its home is still LinkedIn. For importing leads it accepts CSVs and also connects to Sales Navigator, but it doesn't extract emails at scale: the Business plan's email finder only gives you 500 credits per month.

Where Scrupp wins

On data, no contest. Scrupp gives you something Waalaxy can't: the verified email and direct phone of every lead. The company says it gets around 65 percent of emails right on US SaaS profiles, with bounces below 5 percent. Those are the company's own numbers, but in my experience they're close to reality when the market is English-speaking.

It also wins on the payment model. You pay for exported leads, not per seat, and unused credits roll over during the year. For an agency with volume spikes, that's welcome. And the free plan with 100 leads a month and no card lets you validate data quality before paying anything.

The flow into your stack is direct: you export and sync with Instantly, HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Pipedrive or Notion. From search to a send-ready CSV, less than ten minutes go by.

Where Waalaxy wins

On action and on the channel. Waalaxy doesn't give you the data, it gives you the contact: it sends the invitations, writes the messages and runs the follow-ups until you land the meeting. That's exactly the part of the process that eats your hours when done by hand.

For the Spanish-speaking market there's a nuance that counts a lot: people respond better on LinkedIn than by email. A Trustpilot review from February 2026 sums it up in one sentence: 47 invitations sent and a 15% acceptance rate. In cold email, a reply rate of 1 to 5% is already considered good. If your ideal client lives on LinkedIn, Waalaxy's channel wins.

It also wins on ease of use and ecosystem. The editor is drag and drop, with ready-made templates, and for €19 a month you get 300 invitations, enough to validate the channel. And its Trustpilot reputation is the strongest in the niche, with replies to 100% of negative reviews.

Can you use Scrupp and Waalaxy together?

Yes, and in fact it's the combination I like most. Scrupp for the data layer and Waalaxy for the action layer. You find your ICP on Sales Navigator, export the leads with Scrupp, import them into Waalaxy (it accepts CSV) and launch the invitation campaign. That flow is the daily bread of many SDRs I know.

The only case where combining them makes no sense is when you're only missing one of the two things. If you already have the contacts, Waalaxy is enough. If your market responds to email, you're better off with Scrupp plus a cold email platform like Instantly, which lets you start with a free 14-day trial and syncs with Scrupp without touching files. I wrote a detailed analysis of Instantly and its reviews.

What the real reviews say

Both have the same score on Trustpilot, 4.5 out of 5, but with very different nuances. Scrupp has 115 reviews with 87% five stars and 7% one star. Users highlight that it saves them hours of manual research and that the enrichment accuracy is very high. The catch: the company doesn't reply to negative reviews, which always makes me wonder how they treat customers who complain.

Waalaxy has 1,289 reviews, 82% five stars and only 3% one star. It replies to 100% of negative reviews, usually within a week. The usual complaints are about invitation limits and the disappearance of the free plan with 50 invitations, which now only exists as a 14-day trial.

On G2, Scrupp keeps a 4.7 out of 5, and on its own website it boasts a 4.8 combining G2 and Capterra. Waalaxy plays on Trustpilot with more than eleven times Scrupp's reviews. Neither has a serious reputation problem, but if you ask me which one treats its customers better, the answer is Waalaxy.

How much each one costs

Scrupp works with credits and no cost per seat. The Free plan gives you 100 leads a month with no card. Starter costs $29 and includes 1,000 credits. Growth, $39 with 2,000 credits and the Apollo exporter. Pro, $59 with 5,000 credits and REST API access. Enterprise, from $99 with 10,000 credits or more. Annual billing saves you up to 20%, and each export can reach 10,000 leads.

Waalaxy has three plans per user. Pro costs €19 and includes 300 invitations. Advanced, €49 with 800 invitations, API and Make, Zapier and n8n modules. Business, €69 with 800 invitations, cold email sequences and 500 email finder credits. Paying quarterly gets you 20% off and annually 50% off. The free trial is 14 days.

One detail to keep in mind: Scrupp bills in dollars and Waalaxy in euros. For the European market, Scrupp's real cost goes up a bit with the exchange rate, although the price per verified lead is still among the lowest on the market.

When to choose Scrupp

Choose Scrupp if you already know who to contact but you're missing the email or phone, if you work with Sales Navigator and want to automate extraction, or if your strategy runs on cold email and you need lists with verified data. Also if you want to enrich your own database or build an API-driven flow.

A typical case: an SDR prospecting for a SaaS agency with a US market. Their job is to fill the pipeline with verified contacts, and email is the channel. Scrupp gives them 1,000 leads a month for $29 and syncs them with their sending platform. You can try the free plan with 100 leads on the Scrupp website. For the full picture, my guide on what Scrupp is brings you up to date.

When to choose Waalaxy

Choose Waalaxy if your audience lives on LinkedIn, if you're a freelancer or SDR and want to fill your calendar with conversations without spending hours copy-pasting, or if the thought of a blocked account terrifies you. Also if you sell to SMBs in the Spanish-speaking market, where a direct LinkedIn message usually opens more doors than cold email.

A typical case: a consultant selling training to marketing directors. Their ideal client is on LinkedIn, they don't need databases of millions and what they want is to send personalized invitations every day in ten minutes. For that profile, Scrupp would be an unnecessary expense. You can try Waalaxy free for 14 days and see for yourself whether the channel responds.

Final verdict

If I have to pick one for someone starting out in Spain or Latin America, my answer is Waalaxy. It's cheaper, easier and the LinkedIn channel responds better in our market. Try Waalaxy free

Scrupp is the choice when the bottleneck is data. If you need verified emails at scale to feed cold campaigns, there's no comparison: Waalaxy doesn't extract emails and Scrupp does it very well. And if the budget allows, combining both is the complete prospecting machine I would set up today.

My practical advice: start with the channel, not the tools. Validate that LinkedIn or email gives you conversations, then buy the piece you're missing. Scrupp and Waalaxy are pieces of the same puzzle, and knowing which one you need first saves you the money for the one you don't use.
